WIKING Miro 3+ Side Glass Wood Burning Stove — Storage, Style, and Automatic Combustion
The WIKING Miro 3+ wood burning stove takes everything that makes the Miro series so appealing and adds a lower storage section that gives it a taller, more complete presence in the room. Available in two variants — open wood storage or an enclosed lower door — it suits those who want a stove that works as a piece of living room furniture as much as a heat source. Both variants are on display in our showroom, so you can see and compare them in person before you decide.
Side Glass and Lower Storage — Two Variants, One Design Language
The key choice with the Miro 3+ is what sits beneath the firebox. The wood storage variant has an open lower section, keeping a supply of logs visible and within easy reach of the fire. Because the logs are on show, they become part of the look of the stove rather than something tucked away — adding texture and warmth to the overall feel of the room.
The lower door variant, on the other hand, replaces that open space with an enclosed door. As a result, the stove has a cleaner, more contained profile — a better fit for those who prefer a neater look or want to use the lower section for something other than logs.
Both variants share the same distinctive side glass panel, which extends the flame view around one corner of the firebox. Furthermore, both offer rear and bottom external air intake options as additional purchases, making them a practical choice for modern, well-sealed homes.
WIKING® Autopilot™ — Effortless, Automatic Combustion
Like the rest of the Miro+ series, the Miro 3+ uses the WIKING® Autopilot™ combustion system. Rather than adjusting the air manually throughout the burn, Autopilot™ reads the conditions inside the firebox and regulates the air supply on its own — keeping combustion clean and efficient from the first flame to the last ember. Because of this, you get better fuel economy and less residue building up in the flue over time.
The system delivers a 4.4kW nominal output and 75% efficiency, earning an A energy efficiency class rating. In addition, the Miro 3+ is DEFRA exempt — so you can burn wood legally in a smoke control area — and it meets EN 16510 Type CA standards, supporting a room-sealed closed combustion installation.
A Stove That Suits Rooms With Character
At 101.2cm tall, the Miro 3+ has a grounded, floor-standing presence that fills a space with quiet confidence. The side glass clearance requirement of 50cm on each side reflects the extended flame view design, so confirm your available wall space with your installer before settling on a final position.
Finished in black or grey steel, it sits naturally across a wide range of interior styles — from bold contemporary spaces to more understated, natural settings.
