• Chimney Cap Inspection
  Where accessible, we clean and inspect the chimney cap to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Fire-brick & Throat Plate Check
  A visual inspection of the fire-brick, vermiculite linings, and throat plates to confirm all components are in good condition.
• Rope Seal Inspection
  We check the rope seal on your stove door, ensuring it’s secure and ready for the burn season.
• Glass Cleaning
  Any tar or soot build-up on the stove glass is removed to restore visibility and maintain aesthetics.
• Maintenance of Moving Parts
  Copper grease is applied to any moving parts requiring lubrication, keeping your stove running smoothly.
• Manufacturer-Specific Checks
  We consult the manufacturer’s literature to ensure any specific maintenance areas are addressed (on-site paperwork from the manufacturer may be required).
• Smoke Test
  A smoke test is performed to check the efficiency and safety of your appliance.
• Completion Certificate
  Upon finishing, you’ll receive a dated completion certificate outlining any potential concerns (such as door seals or glass seals). If any corrective work is needed, we’ll provide a detailed breakdown of required parts and costs.
