WIKING Miro 6+ Wood Burning Stove

Price range: £2,135.00 through £3,205.00

The WIKING Miro 6+ is a premium floor-standing Danish wood burning stove with a 4.4kW nominal output, WIKING® Autopilot™ automatic combustion, and a choice of four distinct configurations — combining either heat storage stones with a lower door, or a warming shelf with open wood storage, in steel or natural stone cladding.

The natural stone cladding option is available in two finishes — grey or white — making the Miro 6+ the only stove in the WIKING Miro range to offer a white stone finish. At up to 300kg with stones and natural stone grey cladding, it is also the most substantial stove in the range.

DEFRA exempt, Ecodesign compliant, and available in black or grey steel as well as natural stone, the Miro 6+ rewards those who want the very best from their stove investment.

WIKING Miro 6+ Wood Burning Stove — Premium Danish Design With Natural Stone Options

The WIKING Miro 6+ wood burning stove sits at the top of the WIKING Miro range and shows it in every detail. Available in four configurations — two in steel and two with natural stone cladding — it gives you more finish choices than any other stove in the Miro series. Built in Denmark by HWAM, it combines the same WIKING® Autopilot™ combustion system and core performance as the rest of the range with a level of material quality and visual impact that sets it firmly apart.

Four Configurations — Upper Feature and Lower Section

The first choice with the Miro 6+ is what sits in the upper section. The heat storage stones variants fill the upper body with stones that absorb heat from the firebox as it burns. Because of this, the stove keeps releasing warmth into the room long after the fire has gone out — delivering a gentler, more even heat that lasts well into the evening. The stones add 34kg to the stove’s weight and are available on both the steel and natural stone cladding versions.

The warming shelf variants take a different approach. Instead of stones, a shelf sits across the top of the stove — a practical surface for resting a pot, warming drinks, or simply adding a natural focal point above the fire. Below the firebox, both warming shelf variants have an open wood storage compartment, keeping logs visible and close at hand. As a result, these variants feel more active and domestic in everyday use.

Natural Stone Cladding — Grey or White

What makes the Miro 6+ genuinely unique within the WIKING Miro range is the natural stone cladding option. Unlike the Miro 4+, which offers natural stone in grey only, the Miro 6+ gives you a choice of two stone finishes — natural stone grey and natural stone white. The grey finish has a warm, earthy character that suits natural and Scandinavian-inspired interiors particularly well. The white finish, on the other hand, is lighter and more striking — a bold choice that works beautifully against dark walls or in rooms with a fresh, minimal palette.

Furthermore, natural stone adds significant thermal mass to the stove. Because stone holds heat far more effectively than steel, the natural stone variants continue to radiate warmth into the room long after the fire dies down. It is worth noting, however, that the two stone colours differ considerably in weight. The grey stone cladding brings the stove to 266kg — or up to 300kg with heat storage stones added. The white stone cladding is lighter at 226kg — or up to 260kg with stones. Factor this into your floor loading and installation planning from the outset.

    WIKING® Autopilot™ — Automatic, Effortless Combustion

All four Miro 6+ variants run on the WIKING® Autopilot™ combustion system. Rather than adjusting the air supply manually, Autopilot™ manages the entire burn cycle on its own — keeping combustion clean and efficient from start to finish. Because of this, you get a steadier fire, better fuel economy, and less residue building up in the flue over the course of the heating season.

The system delivers a 4.4kW nominal output and 75% efficiency across all four variants, earning an A energy efficiency class rating. In addition, the Miro 6+ holds DEFRA exemption — so you can burn wood legally in a smoke control area — and meets EN 16510 Type CA standards, supporting a room-sealed installation with an optional external air kit available as an additional purchase.
