Our expert service includes a detailed inspection and cleaning of your gas appliance and chimney, following industry best practices to ensure safety and performance:
- Gas Soundness Test:Â We perform a gas soundness test to ensure there are no leaks from the appliance.
- Coal/Log Removal: Remove coals or logs to expose the appliance’s matrix for proper cleaning.
- Matrix Cleaning:Â Clean the matrix thoroughly, removing all dust and debris to ensure optimal operation.
- Ignition and Safety Check:Â Test the lighting ignition and the oxygen safety device to ensure proper functionality.
- Power Supply Check:Â Inspect the battery or power supply for the appliance.
- Manufacturer-Specific Checks:Â Perform additional checks as recommended by the manufacturer (if the user manual or service instructions are available).
- Completion Certificate:Â Issue a dated completion certificate, detailing any areas of concern. We will also provide further paperwork outlining any recommended repairs or maintenance, along with the associated costs.
- Chimney Sweep:Â Clean the chimney, removing all tar and soot deposits from the flue/chimney to ensure proper draft and efficiency.
