Inset stoves are stoves that are set into, or built into, the wall  to create either a recessed or flush finish with the surround. They can either be built into the wall with the convection box being concealed behind the façade, or alternatively they can be set into a fireplace with the convection box being supported by masonry. The rest of the opening is finished off with non combustible materials. The stove is then slide into the convection box and

connected to the flue.
